Approach: We create energy-efficient, climate-friendly permanent affordable housing in collaboration with community development corporations, community development financial institutions, and emerging contractors/developers. We empower individuals to build wealth and achieve financial stability through workshops on financial literacy and homeowner/landlord readiness. By applying the traditional community land trust model from the 1960s, we help communities retain their land, assets, and housing, to prevent displacement and preserve affordability. We partner with like-minded community organizers, government entities, and mission-driven organizations.
